This sad news just in, the guys behind Tech4Africa had to cancel the event due to lack of adequate sponsorship. Even with a flurry of last minute donors, the funds weren’t enough to cover the budget deficit. The news is not all bad however, as hopes are high that this gives the team adequate time to plan for next year’s event.

The good news, MobileActive08 is still on tap to rock Jo’burg on the 13-15th. Bill Gates, it’s confirmed, has declined to attend, but the show will go on as scheduled.
