So I whipped up a little performance comparison chart as promised. Instead of going back and trying to reccount all the auditions I’ve been on, I decided to start the record-keeping excercise starting this April. I’ll just treat all previous auditions as well deserved practice. Luckily enough, my weekend started out well, as did the chart with two auditions set for next week. And just like that, the results aren’t good. Just kidding, I haven’t even auditioned yet. Speaking of which, I didn’t get callbacks for the two auditions I had last week. Oh well, nothing ventured, nothing gained, right?
So the chart is pretty self–explanatory. You have your auditions, your callbacks and your bookings. I can tell you now that the auditions are going to outnumber all other sectors of the chart… duh! I will be updating the chart on a rolling schedule, so check back frequently to check my progress. I am looking to get as many callbacks for each audition as possible so I keep the conversion ratio pretty high up there. Not only that, the chances of getting a booking are that much greater the more auditions I have. I mean, c’mon, somebody out there has the right part for me. If only I could skip this rejection process and get right to it! Sigh! It’s nice to dream.
