I shot this portrait of James shortly before I headed off to East Africa. This small thumbnail doesn’t really do it justice. I liked the seriousness in his face. He actually enjoyed being in front of the camera. It’s a rare moment when James is serious without flashing a silly grin at some equally silly joke playing in his head.
He’s got a candid, wry humor that takes getting used to. If you don’t know him too well, you could almost call him insensitive. That’s why I enjoyed this shot, I got to catch a rare glimpse of his serious, fashionable side. So, without further a-do, I introduce to you, Sir James, of Cubicle #1767.
