Although, I am happy that I didn’t have to lug around a bunch of lenses, cases, cables, batteries and and a tripod. Tønsberg is revealing itself as a mecca for anyone into scenic/landscape/emotionally driven imagery. Being the consummate artist that I am, I managed to get some quick “sketches” with my iPhone’s camera. I guess I’ll call these shots I take here as “iPhonography”. No? Well it works for me. There is a fjord that cuts through this little town that’s used as a shipping channel. In the early hours of the evening, fog settles on the water and turns the scenery into a painter’s dream, with slivery reflections of the shoreline lights turned hazy in the thin ice that chokes the top of the water.

I managed to catch a couple of swans taking a dip in the frigid water. Like I said, the imagery is dreamy. As usual of course, I had my theme music thumping in my ear as I walked along the shoreline dock. Dave Gahan’s Endless was pulsating rythmically to my every step, and flowed right into Every Day by the Cinamatic Ochestra

I’ll post more images as the week goes along. I have to go now. The library is closing. Life comes to a standstill here after 7pm. Everybody goes home.
