In a testament to how bad news really sticks around longer than good news, a client of mine freaked out when they heard I was going through Rwanda this week. Due to the nature of my job(s?), have laptop, camera, wi-fi, will travel. But all he was worried about was that Rwandans had more machetes than wi-fi spot.
Some people really need to stay current with the news. It’s moving faster than most people realize.
Rwanda is the feel-good story of this decade. I am still amazed at what President Kagame has managed to do in such a short time since the Genocide. Let’s hope this sets a shining example for the rest of Africa. Mugabe’s Zimbabwe political discombobulation not withstanding that is….
