Anti-Homosexuality bill: Travel Advisory For Uganda’s Members of Parliament

International Development

Daniel Kawuma on ‘Africa on the blog‘ issuing travel advisory for Uganda’s homophobic Members of Parliament:

The following guidelines should help minimize encounters with gay people and women around the world engaging in erotic behavior that might trigger sexual excitement to offend the high standard of ethics and morality historically exhibited by our politicians that have earned Uganda the rank of 37th most corrupt nation in the World.

The ironic hypocrisy here of course is that in one breath, Uganda’s MPs pass a homophobic bill suppressing the human rights of some minorities in the country, then turn around and buy iPads from a company run by “the most powerful gay man in America.”
